| Cause &
Prevention
Our focus is on the prevention and
treatment of diseases wherever possible, and on education and
rehabilitation so that people with disability can be included into
their society as equals and lead a largely independent life.
Angle Hands always works in
partnership with national and local organisations and provides an
important advocacy link between the blind, deaf and disabled and
their respective governments.
Overseas Programme
Angle Hands aims to provide medical
care, education and rehabilitation to as many blind, low vision,
deaf and physically disabled people as possible. We would find this
very difficult without our project partners - a network of national
and local organisations (governments, associations, churches etc).
Together we can do more
than just provide treatment -
our aim is to leave a sustainable legacy that will help protect,
treat and educate communities who face living in poverty with
blindness, deafness and disability. With our own team of surgeons,
doctors, ophthalmologists and other medical staff working on our
projects around the world, we can be sure that communities receive
long-lasting support. |
